What started as a passion for winemaking and a love of the Texas land has grown into something we get to share with you every Thursday through Sunday.
We're a woman- and veteran-owned winery nestled among the gently rolling hills of Valley View, Texas — within the Texoma AVA, along the northern edge of beautiful Lake Ray Roberts. From our soil to your glass, every bottle carries a piece of this place and this journey.
In the Heart of Texoma Wine Country
5 Fifty-Five calls the Texoma AVA home, one of Texas's most exciting and fastest-growing wine appellations. Situated along the Red River in North Texas, the Texoma region benefits from a unique combination of clay and limestone soils, warm days, and cool nights that produce grapes with remarkable depth and character.
Texas is now the fifth-largest wine-producing state in the country, and the Texoma AVA is at the forefront of that growth. When you sip a 5 Fifty-Five wine, you're tasting a place, one with a story still being written. We're proud to be part of it.

We are often asked, "Why did you name the winery 5 Fifty-Five?" The angel number 555 symbolizes a significant and positive turning point, a sign of great things to come. The journey we embarked on to create 5 Fifty-Five Vineyard & Winery has been exactly that. A transformation. A calling. And a daily delight we get to share with every guest who walks through our doors.
You'll find us nestled among the gently rolling hills of North Texas Wine Country, along the northern edge of Lake Ray Roberts. The Texoma AVA, our wine-growing region, has a character all its own: a unique soil composition, a climate that challenges and rewards, and a community of winemakers who are quietly putting Texas on the national wine map.
We take great pride in using only 100% Texas-grown grapes and time-honored winemaking techniques to craft wines that have earned recognition on the competition circuit. Whether you're a devoted collector or someone who simply loves a good glass on a beautiful afternoon, we welcome you to pull up a chair and stay a while.
